Usually not. A waterproofing or drainage contractor does this work, because the pit and the drain that feeds it are drainage. You need an electrician for the circuit. A plumber is the right call only when the discharge has to join a pipe a plumber owns.

What a pump here is actually pumping

A plumber comes in where the discharge meets fixed pipe. In many places a sump may not join a sewer at all. Where the rules allow it, that join is plumbing. Where they do not, the discharge is a buried line to a surface outlet, and that is drainage work again.

Whoever does it, the line has to end far enough from the house that the water does not come back. That is the detail most often got wrong.
